This Leroy product is grown under special conditions to deliver the best quality - the very cold climes of the north of Norway "under the Aurora lights" for slower growth, currents, low stocking densities, feed. Fish is grown until about 3-3.8 years old at harvest.
Freshest quality sashimi-grade salmon - deep orange colour with clear rainbow stripes; high fat content for a richer flavour and melt in the mouth yet firm texture.
To eat as sushi or sashimi, enjoy the product soon after receiving it. Store chilled in a sealed bag in ice or refrigerator (0-50C). Consume within 1 day for raw consumption, or 2-3 days for cooking. Do not freeze.
Check for any remaining bones, running finger along the middle of the fillet, and remove with pliers or tweezers. Raw - Prepare thinly sliced for sashimi, serving with wasabi and soy sauce. Cook – roast, bake, broil, grill or pan-fry skin-side down after rubbing with a little olive oil and sprinkling with salt and pepper. Or poach or steam.
