Name ‘King’ not related to size. The Prawns are caught by trawling, mainly from south and west coasts of Australia
When cooked, firm white flesh, attractive rich sweet sea flavour.
Defrost overnight in refrigerator. Store chilled in ice or refrigerator (0-5C) until ready to cook. Consume within 2-3 days. Do not re-freeze.
Extremely versatile. Cooking whole provides more of the flavour and colour from the shell. BBQ, grill, boil in salt water, peel and pan-fry in butter and garlic, add to Tom Yum or to seafood pasta dish. Overcooking will make shrimp tough. DO NOT OVERCOOK.
